Oregan also listens to the name wild marjoram. In Holland, oregan is especially famous from the Italian kitchen. Although the amount of sun has direct influence on the taste of this herb, it grows in all middle climates.
In Holland, coriander is usually applied in dishes from foreign origin. In past, this herb used to be populair in the Dutch and Belgian kitchen. Nowadays it is only applied as a component of Belgian lager. Both the leafs and the seeds of coriander are proper for flavouring.
