Tarragon is an herb which is especially known from the classical (French) kitchen. It originates from Central Asia and is in Europe for culinary use since the Middle Ages. Both the leafs as the flowers can be used for consumption.
In Holland, coriander is usually applied in dishes from foreign origin. In past, this herb used to be populair in the Dutch and Belgian kitchen. Nowadays it is only applied as a component of Belgian lager. Both the leafs and the seeds of coriander are proper for flavouring.
