Dill is a vegetation related to aniseed-liking herbs as fennel and chervil and is a herb with a very sophisticated taste. Dill plays a very important role in the Scandinavian- and Baltic kitchens, but also in Germany, Poland, and Russia.
Usually only the thin stalks are being used with food preparation, because the thick ones can become stern. Chives are mostly used in dishes like salad.
The spheres at the end of the stalks can not be taken for consumption. Consumption can result in serious hallucination or concentration problems.
