Sage is a relative of the Lip flower family and it is especially known from the Italian kitchen. The leafs are thick, grey, and have a strong aroma. The sage vegetation grows in June and July with purple and white flowers.

Dill
Dill is widely used in soupes and sauces, but will not be cooked or combined with other herbs in order to keep its palate.
Dill's dried seed is used for canning cumcumbers and pickles, but also to aromatise vinegar. Furthermore this seed can be used as a soporific.
